Gingerbread Waffles

 

Gingerbread Waffles

Ingredients
  

  • 2 c Grandpa's Kitchen Flour Blend
  • ¼ c sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 6 Tbsp butter melted
  • ¾ tsp salt
  • 3 Tbsp molasses
  • 1 ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 c milk
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • ½ c sour cream
  • ½ tsp ground cloves
  • Lingonberry or other berry preserves

Instructions
 

  • Whisk together dry ingredients and sugar in a large bowl. Whisk together eggs, butter, milk, sour cream, and molasses in a medium bowl. Add egg mixture to flour mixture and whisk until smooth.
  • Heat waffle iron. Spoon 1/3 c batter into each mold and cook until golden brown. Serve warm waffles with sour cream and preserves.
