Course: Appetizer, Dessert, Side Dish, Snack
Cuisine: American

Ingredients

  • 2 C Grandpa's Kitchen Flour Blend
  • 1 small pkg vanilla pudding mix
  • ½ tsp salt optional
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 C butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • ¾ C granulated sugar
  • ¾ C light brown sugar
  • tsp vanilla extract
  • 12oz pkg chocolate chips
  • 1 C nuts (optional)

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Stir together flour, pudding mix, baking soda, and salt in mixing bowl.
  3. In large mixing bowl cream together butter and sugars until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla, mix well. Gradually add flour mixture, beating until moist.
  4. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts, if desired.
  5. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet to cooling rack. Makes about 6 dozen cookies.

Notes

I have found I get the best results if I chill the dough first for at least two hours, or overnight is been perfect.
