Tri-Tip with Jambalaya Rice

Ingredients
  

  • ¼ Cup Soy Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp Finley Chopped Onion
  • 1 Small Yellow Pepper Chopped
  • 2 Tbsp Granulated Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 Tbsp Vinegar
  • 2 Stalked Celery Chopped
  • 1½-2 lb Steak Or Pork Chops
  • 1 Pkg Lipton Cream of Chicken Soup
  • 1 small red pepper Chopped
  • Cup Onion Chopped
  • 1 Clove Garlic Minced
  • ¼ Cup Rice
  • ¼ tsp Paprika
  • Cup Water
  • ¼ lb Italian sausage

Instructions
 

  • Stir together soy sauce, 2 Tbsp onion, sugar, brown sugar, lemon juice, vinegar and chili powder.
  • Heat grill to med. heat.
  • Place meat on grill
  • Cover, grill 36 to 40 min.
  • rush meat often with soy mixture during last 10 minutes. 
  • Cover meat and let stand 10 minutes before slicing. 
  • In large saucepan cook sausage until lightly brown.
  • Add celery, peppers, 1/3 c onion, and garlic. 
  • Cook and stir for 5 min.
  • Add rice and paprika. 
  • Cook and stir 2 min. 
  • Add soup and water.  Bring to boiling, reduce heat. 
  • Cover and simmer for 15 to 20 min. or until rice is tender.  Serve with meat.
